Information we collect

Client waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. Our server adds a source label and submission timestamp before sending the entry to our waitlist system. We use this information to maintain the waitlist, recognize duplicate entries, and notify you about Magikly’s opening and closely related launch updates.

Practitioner applications

The current application is hosted and processed through Tally. It asks for your name, practitioner or business name, email address, links where we can view your work, the types of offerings you may want to share, and any additional context you choose to provide. You may also optionally provide a work-sample link or upload sample files, such as an anonymized reading, report, ritual guide, or client deliverable.

Please do not include personal information about clients or other people in samples unless you have the right to share it. The application does not intentionally ask for health information or other highly sensitive personal information, but free-text answers and uploaded files may contain information you choose to provide.

Contact and communications

The Contact page opens your email service rather than collecting information through a Magikly contact form. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, along with any information or attachments you choose to include.

Technical information

Like most hosted websites, our infrastructure and service providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs. Magikly’s current application code does not intentionally add IP addresses or user-agent strings to waitlist records.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• operate the Coming Soon site and client waitlist;
• send launch and closely related communications you request;
• review and respond to practitioner applications;
• respond to questions, privacy requests, and accessibility feedback;
• maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot, and improve reliability; and
• comply with applicable law and protect our rights and the rights of others.

Service providers and other recipients

We disclose information to providers that help us operate the current site, subject to their services and agreements:

• Vercel hosts and delivers the website and server functions.
• Airtable supports the current waitlist workflow and stores waitlist entries received through our server-side integration.
• Tally hosts the practitioner application and processes application answers and uploaded files.
• Google Fonts delivers fonts used on parts of the public site, which can cause a visitor’s browser to connect to Google.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, protect safety or rights, investigate misuse, or support a business reorganization or transfer. We do not currently use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or disclose it in exchange for money. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.

Cookies, storage, and analytics

Magikly’s current first-party site code does not set cookies or use localStorage or sessionStorage, and we have not deployed advertising pixels or general visitor analytics. For that reason, Magikly does not currently display a cookie consent banner.

The embedded Tally application is a third-party service and may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies under Tally’s own privacy practices. Hosting and network providers may also process request logs and essential security information. Browser tools or special Vercel preview features used by authorized site collaborators are not part of the ordinary visitor experience.

Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including maintaining the waitlist, evaluating applications, communicating with you, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods can vary by the type of information and the systems in which it is stored. You may ask us to delete your information as described below.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or withdraw from the waitlist, by emailing hello@magikly.co. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including rights to know, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or limit certain uses of personal information, and to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

You can opt out of waitlist or launch emails by using any unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting us. Service-related replies, such as a response to a request you sent us, are not marketing messages.

Children

The current website, waitlist, and practitioner application are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

International visitors

Magikly and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live. International visitors may contact us with questions or requests about the handling of their information.

Third-party sites and services

The site may link to or embed services we do not control, including Tally and social or practitioner websites. Their privacy practices apply to information they collect directly. We encourage you to review their notices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Magikly develops or our practices and legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through another appropriate channel.
