FAQ

What to expect from Magikly.

When does Magikly open?

Magikly is opening in Fall 2026. Join the client waitlist and we’ll let you know the moment the marketplace opens.

What is Magikly?

Magikly is a curated marketplace and client-experience platform for spiritual guidance. You can discover practitioners, choose an offering, book or receive your guidance, stay connected through Circle, and keep what you receive in your personal Grimoire.

What will I find on Magikly?

Magikly is being built for guidance and commissioned offerings from spiritual practitioners, including tarot, astrology, psychic and intuitive guidance, spellwork, dream interpretation, Reiki and energy work, numerology, mediumship, manifestation, animal communication, and more.

What am I purchasing?

You are purchasing a practitioner’s skills, experience, and the work described in their offering. Every purchase includes a deliverable you can keep, whether that is a record of your reading, custom work, or a downloadable product. The listing explains what the practitioner will do and what you will receive.

Personal or spiritual outcomes are not guaranteed. The commitment is to perform the agreed work and provide the deliverable.

How do live sessions work?

For live offerings, you book with your practitioner and meet through Magikly’s built-in video experience. The session is recorded in Magikly, with recording explained before booking. The delivery in your Grimoire includes video, audio, transcript, summary, and the practitioner deliverables included with your offering.

How are custom offerings delivered?

Your practitioner records the work in Magikly without you attending a live call, then reviews and delivers it. Live and custom offerings share the same delivery package: video, audio, transcript, summary, and the practitioner deliverables described in the listing.

Practitioners do not have to show their face on camera. Relevant tools or materials should be visible when they are part of the work. The listing explains what you will receive and when to expect it.

What is the Grimoire?

Your Grimoire is your personal Magikly library. It keeps delivered offerings together so you can revisit guidance, watch or listen to live and custom recordings, read transcripts and summaries, open practitioner deliverables, rebook an offering, or gift that offering to someone else.

What is Circle?

Circle is where you keep the practitioners and offerings you want to return to. Save practitioners and offerings, message practitioners, book or rebook, and gift offerings without rebuilding the relationship from scratch each time.

What does “Gift” mean in my Grimoire?

Gift lets you purchase the same offering for someone else. It does not share your private reading, recording, transcript, summary, or practitioner deliverables.

I’m a practitioner. What does Magikly handle for me?

Magikly is designed to handle the infrastructure around your practice: your storefront, marketplace discovery, bookings and payments, built-in live video, client communication, delivery, recordings, transcripts, summaries, Grimoire organization, Circle relationships, notifications, mobile access, and business insights. You focus on your practice and your clients while Magikly keeps the experience connected.

What are Business Insights?

Business Insights is being built to connect performance, explanation, recommendation, and action. It can help practitioners consider pricing and positioning, offering conversion, repeat-booking patterns, search demand, and ideas for new products or series. Every recommendation should show its supporting data, time period, and available sample, with uncertainty made clear when data is limited. Practitioners choose what to act on and always set their own prices. Insights do not guarantee sales, bookings, income, or client outcomes.

What is Magikly’s practitioner share?

Practitioners keep 80% of readings and custom offerings. Magikly keeps 20%. For instant downloads, practitioners keep 70% and Magikly keeps 30%.

Why does Magikly keep 20% of readings and custom offerings?

The platform share supports a connected experience before, during, and after a booking: discovery, a customizable storefront, booking and payment infrastructure, built-in live video, client communication, delivery tools, recordings, audio, transcripts, summaries, Grimoire storage, Circle relationships, notifications, mobile access, business insights, and the platform work required to operate and improve those systems.

The goal is one professional home for your practice, with connected tools and business insights to support the decisions you make.

Why is the share different for instant downloads?

Instant downloads use a 70/30 split to account for mobile in-app purchase fees. Magikly’s pricing model allows for a 15% app-store fee within the platform share. Clients can buy a download where they discover it, with fewer checkout steps and without leaving the app.

The 15% rate depends on the applicable app-store program and eligibility. See Apple’s Small Business Program and Google Play’s service fees for the current terms.

Do practitioners set their own prices?

Yes. Practitioners control their offerings and pricing. Magikly is being built to support distinctive independent practices, with practitioners deciding what to offer and what to charge.

What is the Magikly Standard?

Listings explain the work, required client input, timing, deliverables, and full price. Practitioners respect client autonomy, consent, privacy, and professional boundaries. Offerings describe a practice and its delivery; they cannot promise personal, spiritual, or business outcomes. Clients decide what guidance means to them and whether to return.

How does evidence-based dispute resolution protect practitioners?

A clear platform record helps practitioners demonstrate the work they completed. Magikly compares the agreed offering with the actual delivery. The review considers the listing, order details, messages, timestamps, recordings where applicable, and practitioner materials. It focuses on whether the described work was performed and delivered, rather than whether a personal or spiritual outcome occurred.

A technical failure in one delivery component does not automatically mean the offering was not delivered. Transcripts and summaries serve as backups: when they preserve the completed reading or custom work and are available to the client, they still count as completed delivery if another component, such as video or audio, fails.

Every offering must still have a deliverable. A backup documents work that was actually performed; it does not replace missing work. If the agreed work was not performed, no usable deliverable is available, or a separately promised practitioner deliverable is missing, report the issue so Magikly can review it.

We consider the available delivery materials and platform record together. Resolution may include restoring a failed component, completing missing delivery, an appropriate refund or adjustment, or a payout hold during review. A failure in one format alone does not automatically entitle a client to a refund when the work has been delivered through its backups.

How may practitioners use AI?

AI may package the work. It may not replace it. Magikly never allows AI readings or services performed by AI. Every reading and custom service must be performed by the practitioner. AI may assist with transcription, summaries, formatting, accessibility, organization, and packaging. It cannot fabricate a reading, interpretation, ritual, or evidence of human work. AI-generated summaries and materials must be clearly labeled.

Clearly labeled generative-AI instant downloads, such as journals, artwork, and worksheets, are allowed. This permission does not extend to AI readings or AI-performed services. The listing must explain whether the product is AI-generated or AI-assisted, so clients understand what they are buying.

How does Magikly review practitioners?

Practitioners are reviewed before entering the marketplace. Magikly is also developing the Magikly Standard around transparent pricing, clear offerings, respectful practice, client autonomy, and professional boundaries.
